Story
Dhurandhar draws inspiration from real-life RAW operations, notably Operation Lyari, and is set against events like the IC-814 hijacking (1999) and the 2001 Indian Parliament attack. The plot follows India’s Intelligence Bureau Chief Ajay Sanyal who designs a daring covert mission to dismantle a powerful terror network operating from Karachi. To execute the high-risk infiltration, he recruits an unlikely asset — a 20-year-old Punjabi boy imprisoned for a revenge crime. Sanyal grooms the boy into a covert weapon capable of penetrating Karachi’s ruthless underworld. This film is the first part of a two-part saga; Dhurandhar 2 is scheduled for release on 19 March 2026.
